Participation
All boys and girls Ages 3-5 and Kindergarten through 5th grade are eligible to participate. Team placement will be handled by the LYC Athletic Staff. Special placement requests will not be honored, we will however, accommodate sibling requests to be on the same team (as long as they are in the same division or willing to play up).
Season
The season will start January 18, 2020 and conclude February 22, 2020. February 29, 2020 will be used as a weather make-up day if needed. Pictures will be taken January 25, 2020. All schedules will be handed out at the first practice and can also be accessed on Facebook or on our website.
Games & Practices
All games will be played on Saturday mornings at the New Syracuse Elementary School. Most practices will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning January 14th, 2020. Days and times are ultimately determined by individual coaches.
PeeWee will be geared towards instructional play. No practices will be scheduled during the week. Each team will need a parent leader (volunteer). These team leaders will be given instructions each week from the LYC Athletic Director to improve skills and coordination.

Cost:
$30.00 PeeWee ONLY
$50.00 per child and
$40.00 for each additional sibling.
There is a 50% discount for coaching. Discount will be applied to accounts after background checks are completed.
Sponsorship:
If you or your employer are interested in sponsoring a team please include your payment online as Basketball Sponsorship. A Team sponsor earns your business’s name on the shirts of one team and a yard sign with your logo at the gym during the season and only costs $125.
