Participation
Pee Wee - Coed -Ages 3-5 (No Weekly Practices, just Saturday mornings)
Boys Grades K-1, 2-3, & 4-5th Grade
Girls Grades K-2 & 3-5th Grade
Team placement will be handled by the LYC Athletic Staff. Special placement requests will not be honored, we will however, accommodate sibling requests to be on the same team (as long as they are in the same division or willing to play up).
Season
The season will start the week of January 20th, 2025 and conclude March 1st, 2025. March 8th, 2025 will be used as a weather make-up day if needed. Pictures will be taken February 1st, 2025. All schedules will be handed out at the first practice and can also be accessed on Facebook or on our website at www.lakelandyouthcenter.com following the coach’s meeting!
Games & Practices
All games will be played on Saturday mornings at Syracuse Elementary School. Should we need to add another day for games we will use Friday nights. Fridays will only be used if the number of participants warrant an additional day. Most practices will be held Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays, beginning January 20th, 2025. Days and times are ultimately determined by individual coaches.
PeeWee will be geared towards instructional play. No practices will be scheduled during the week. Each team will need a parent leader (volunteer). These team leaders will be given instructions each week from the LYC Athletic Director to improve skills and coordination.

Cost:
$40.00 PeeWee ONLY
$60.00 per child and
$50.00 for each additional sibling.
There is a 50% discount for coaching. Discount will be applied to accounts after the season is completed to be used at a later date.
Sponsorship:
If you or your employer are interested in sponsoring a team please include your payment online as Basketball Sponsorship. A Team sponsor earns your business’s name on the shirts of one team and a yard sign with your logo at the gym during the season and only costs $125. Volunteers are essential to making this program a success. Please indicate who is willing to help. Mandatory Coaches open house Thursday, January 16th 5:30 - 7:00 pm at Lakeland Youth Center
