Golf Camp 2025
Dates:  Monday, August 4th – Thursday, August 7th 
 
Participants:  Children entering 3rd through 8th grade in the fall of 2024. Golfers will be introduced and coached on the game of golf along with going over golf etiquette and game rules. Participants will be expected to walk the designated holes. Carts will only be available to shuttle groups between holes.  The last day is designed to be a Child/Parent scramble.   
 
Equipment:  If your child has their own equipment (minimum of 3 clubs, balls, tees, etc.), please have them bring it.  If your child needs equipment to use, please contact LYC Sports Director Jake Hutsell (574.529.2604). 
                                                                            
Format:  There will be 3 skills days introducing and encouraging golf etiquette and skill development. There will be 1 parent/kid playing day.  They will be exposed to all of our local courses including:
  • Wawasee Golf Club – 12388 N Bishop Rd. Syracuse, IN
  • Maxwelton Golf Club – 5721 S County Line Rd, Syracuse, IN
 
The sessions will be led by Scott Hetrick – Former Wawasee Middle School Golf Coach and Golf Pros from the courses
 
Cost:        $60 (includes all Skill Days and Play Day) Note:  $10.00 discount for sibling.
 
Registration:   Due Sunday, August 3rd
